fast money

there are many points in the game when you may need to obtain mass amounts of cash FAST, especially when buying bulk amounts of vitamins for EV training. i find myself in this situation pretty much every day, and recommend this elderly couple, located on Route 212, directly south of Hearthome City (on the path west of the Pokemon Mansion).

Socialite Reina and Gentleman Jeremy use Roselia and Chatot, respectively.

note: ice beam one-hits both of their pokemon. strong fire moves also devour them. my lvl 84 Lapras owned them, but so did my lvl 42 Charizard (once EV trained) with Fire Fang.

     eventually their pokemon will reach lvl 60, at which point each trainer will give you 12,000 coins. if you've equipped either an amulet coin or luck incense, you will gain 24,000 coins per battle. the fastest way to earn money from them is to equip your bike, set your vs. seeker to the y button, and rebattle them as much as your PP allows.

 bike; purchased in Eterna City

 vs. seeker; obtained on Route 207

 luck incense; found along the Ravaged Path of Route 204

 amulet coin; found at Amity Square, inside the ruins. (normal item, not a pokemon-pickup)

note: both the luck incense and the amulet coin serve the same purpose.
